Experience a fifth
generation working family farm. Tour has four stops.
Watch a professionally made video of the entire
year-round “farm to market” process in a historic
barn. Snack on fruit and a peach muffin. Ride on a
converted farm trailer pulled by a 1956 farm truck
for a fun and educational ride through the field.
Tour the packing shed, watch as the fruit is sorted,
sized, packed, and stacked. Picnic area available
for those who want to bring lunches. Teacher also
receives a packet of activities that students can do
in class before coming on the tour. There must be 1
adult for every 10 students. Tour is
geared for second grade, but can be adapted for
other ages. Tour takes 2 hours and is by appointment
only.
